Tsering Hannaford is a realist painter based in Adelaide, South Australia. She works from her studio in West Hindmarsh and opens this space to the public each year during SALA Festival.
Portraiture is a focus of her practice and she has been hung twice in the Archibald Prize (2015, 2016). In 2014 she was highly commended for the Portia Geach Memorial Award and she has been a semi-finalist in the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize (2014). Examples of Tsering's commissioned portraits can be seen hanging at Lincoln College, the Sir Samuel Way Courtrooms and Westminster School in Adelaide.
