HISTORY
Comace was established 34 years ago and became a Pty Ltd Company in 1992. The business operates from a 2400m2 facility at St Marys in southern Adelaide and has a significant amount of specialised equipment and software. Comace is a proud 34 year old South Australian company, employing local staff and providing stability to employees and input into the local and S.A. economy. The plan is for the business to exceed its current directors and continue on to second and third generations of family Directors while maximising employment numbers and revenue for South Australia.
PRODUCTS / SERVICES
Our core business is bespoke joinery and is predominantly manufacturing of detailed joinery for the commercial, industrial and construction market, consisting mainly one off design pieces (i.e. reception counters, cupboards built for particular areas or individual styles). Examples include all joinery fitout work for and including, health care, educational, aged care, office, retail and industrial clients. Comace also has a Building Maintenance and Fitout division. This work consists of fitout works for retail, commercial and industrial locations including defitting and refitting retail outlets for shopping centres and supermarkets. Comace is one of only a handful of Australian firms in the industry to hold both management and safety certifications of ISO-9001 and AS-4801. In fact the very first company in our industry to implement both that we know off. Comace was also the 2nd company nationally to be awarded accreditation from the Shop and Office Fit Out Industry Association in 2012. Comace are also committed to preserving the environment and preventing pollution as our work complies with the standards set out in ISO-14001 Environmental Management Systems and we are currently working towards this certification.
