Island Pure was established in 1992 and is South Australia’s first sheep dairy and cheese factory. Located on the banks of the Cygnet River on Kangaroo Island in South Australia, the Dairy is family owned and managed, and our team shares a passion and commitment to produce premium sheep milk products.
Island Pure’s sheep are raised on our 260 hectare Kangaroo Island property. The pure Island environment and the flock’s stress free lifestyle contribute to the delicious flavour of the highly nutritious milk. Island Pure's on-farm factory receives the milk within minutes of our ‘girls’ leaving the Dairy, maximizing freshness and flavour. Then our award winning cheesemaker does her magic to create handcrafted cheese, yoghurt, labneh and gelato of the highest quality.
