Kappy's is an 80 year old South Australian business, which wholesales and retails tea and coffee, as well as providing a relaxing cafe atmosphere for locals and visitors, to enjoy their favourite tea or coffee. We have a rich history in South Australia, being the first true 'cafe' serving locally roasted coffee, and freshly imported teas. Originally located on Stephens place (where Myer is now), then moving to Flinders Street, and now in Compton Street, a short stroll away from the vibrant Gouger Street/Central market precinct. These days at Kappy's you will find a blend of the old and the new. We source only organic and ethical produce, and blend/create the tea and coffee blends here on site. We still roast our own coffee, in our 1930's coffee roaster. As well as contract roasting other exciting local products, like wattle seed. We love using local product, as often as we can source it. Getting our dried cherries from an organic cherry farmer in the Adelaide hills, to blend with our exceptional Sencha, to make a refreshing and fruity green tea; or local dried peppermint for one of our most popular relaxation teas, 'Shepherds Delight'.
