Mundoo Island Station is a privately owned and operated cattle and sheep station which began its life in 1843 - only 7 years after South Australia was proclaimed a colony. Surrounded by the beautiful Coorong water on one side and the fresh water of the River Murray on the other, Mundoo Island is a unique part of South Australia. We offer farm stay and camping opportunities as well as kayak hire for our guests. Historic station tours are conducted regularly as are photographic tours to view the magnificent Coorong birdlife - especially during the Spring and Summer months when the migratory birds are present in their thousands.
