In 1952, Robert Slape began his butcher’s apprenticeship at the age of 14. It was there he learnt about the importance of quality meats and how to make superior sausages and opened his own shop in 1965 named Robbie Slape Sausages. A small corner butcher shop located in St Peters, South Australia, which had continued support from locals.
50 years later the family business is in it's third generation, all products are made in SA and sent to supermarkets across Australia.
