Since 2003 Central Market Tours has been a showcase of Adelaide’s premier attraction: the historic and vibrant Central Market. When joining one of our tours, local and international visitors experience South Australian regional produce firsthand via tastings and through meeting local identities. Visitors learn about the history of the market and the important role it has had in Adelaide and South Australia.
In 2015 we founded World Food Connections with the objective of celebrating and extending South Australia’s food culture centered around the Market. We also broadened our tourism experiences by leasing the Central Market Kitchen enabling us to include cooking classes, educational tours, corporate team building events and opportunities for stall holders to promote their products in a relaxed environment. The Central Market Kitchen has become a food, educational and tourist hub for all visitors to and residents of South Australia.
