In 1994 FWS commenced an Employment Service in the Fleurieu region with a trial program to assist school leavers with high support needs to move into employment and the following year expanded this service to the Adelaide Hills region. Today our employment services now operates in the Fleuireu, Riverland and Southern Adelaide regions with 5 permanent locations delivering disability employment services and a variety of state based funded programs that focus on intervention and skills development.
FWS has always focused on quality tailored services that goes that little bit extra to connect with agencies and community services that support our values in providing motivation, intervention and building social and vocational skills. Our Community Solutions service provides a range of programs such as Driver Education through Right 2 Drive and Lets Go Learners; assistance to young people through Drug and alcohol education and ICAN programs that address life skills and social inclusion. Digital literacy and preparing for the workforce is addressed via our adult community education programs delivered in the Fleurieu, Murraylands and Riverland regions.
As we grow our focus remains on quality services that result in outcome for our clients and our community.
