We are Pulteney: a dynamic and inclusive city school community that inspires, challenges and empowers for tomorrow.
At Pulteney we are justifiably proud of our 169 year long history and traditions whilst providing a dynamic, vibrant and contemporary co-educational experience for all of our students. Importantly, we are a strong and supportive community where our size of approximately 1000 students, ELC-12, enables us to know and nurture each individual.
We are proud of our city location – we are the only independent co-educational ELC to Year 12 school in the City of Adelaide’s square mile. Pulteney Grammar has a progressive and clear comprehension of its standing as a vibrant, co-educational city school. 169 years young, the school’s strategic priorities and advantages provide it with a multitude of opportunities to capitalise on that standing. The School is in a very exciting phase of growth, in terms of the implementation of a Learning and Performance Framework, its commitment to fostering authentic connections at local and international levels and the development of a revitalised capital master plan. It is a school with a clear vision, a commitment to community and a very dynamic future.
Our Learning and Performance Culture Framework focuses on three core areas: Students, Learning and Community.
We honour and enhance our unique community values and relationships. We:
• Engage and partner with students, staff, parents, alumni and the wider community
• Share insights, practices and research
• Are aware, informed and connected global citizens who value diversity
• Nurture the heart and well-being of the school community
We view our school as an urban village within the vibrant city of Adelaide, with outstanding cultural, social and educational resources on our doorstep with which we engage regularly.
