Saskia Beer began business early in life starting a catering business in 1993 – good produce was hard to find, but good farmers weren’t and through utilising her own family farm initially in 1996 Saskia started a business called Barossa Farm Produce right here in South Australia with free range, corn-fed chickens and of course pheasants (her families legacy).
Saskia also introduced many ‘firsts’ into Australian farming such as the Milk Fed Lamb Group, The Black Pig brand and the continuation of Game Farming in partnership with committed producers who help us attain goals in primary produce.
Known throughout Barossa and regular attendance at the Barossa Farmers market and Adelaide Farmers Market, Saskia Beer has only just begun to show you just how good we have it here in South Australia.
