Wyld Words is an independent bookshop at Port Noarlunga. In addition to stocking books by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander writers, Wyld Words sells a diverse range of fiction and non-fiction, such as: Australian history, politics and environment; science and technology; fiction from around the globe, graphic novels, SA self-published authors; and more.
In addition to books, Wyld Words stocks gift cards, journals, local art, handmade goods, and an assortment of SA products.
Wyld Words presents writers' workshops, guest speakers, art workshops, and other activities.
Coffee & teas, free WiFi, and writing/meeting space is available.
The business is owned by Karen Wyld, SA's only motorbike-riding, middle-aged Aboriginal writer/bookseller. New products will include plus-sized women’s motorbike gear.
